Rules
1. No God-Modding or Meta-Gaming.2. Please be respectful of other hunters.3. Offensive language and slurs are only permitted in character.4. Do not allow in-game drama to affect out-of-game relationships or vice versa.5. When speaking out of character in the roleplay threads, please clearly indicate so.
Guidelines
1. No OOC-only posts in roleplay threads.2. Literacy is very important in painting a realistic picture for other players.3. No text quirks1 are permitted in non-dialogue context.(i.e. it is permitted if your character is talking, but not in scenic descriptions)4. There is no word minimum however it is appreciated if you do not post one and two liners regularly.5. All happenings are open to all members, however all other in character threads should be labeled in the title as "Open" if any member may join, or "Private" if the thread is for specific members. A threads status can be changed at any time. Do not crash Private threads. If someone does crash your thread we ask you to please politely ask them to leave before reporting to staff.6. When a thread or happening has been agreed upon as finished or dead please alert a staff member so they can lock it.7. Explicit content is not allowed as per the Proboards Terms of Service.8. Time is fluid. Feel free to post in multiple areas at once, however, make sure to stay active in any threads you join.9. Spamming for credits is not allowed and may result in a penalty of deducted credits and/or temporary ban.
Accounts, Characters, and Profiles
1. There is a limit of three accounts per person.2. Each account is representative of one character. The display name of the account should contain at least the first name of the character. Placing your character's stats in the signature is recommended but not required.3. WE DO NOT DELETE INACTIVE ACCOUNTS. However active members are rewarded with promotion to "Honorary Member" and can be demoted for inactivity. Also while inactive accounts are safe, accounts that have never posted will be deleted after one month.4. You may have a character of another species besides human, however you must play them with respect to their species limitations. At this time only species from John Winchester's Journal are allowed.5. Images in signatures should be no taller than 300px and no wider than 500px. Content must also not be offensive to any race, culture, sex, orientation, religion, or otherwise. We allow one warning for genuine mistakes but two or more occurrences may likely result in a ban.6. After joining make sure to stop by the Introduction board and say hello to your fellow members!
7. Avatars must be 200px by 300px and must be linked NOT uploaded. There's a problem with uploaded images being downsized and for proper functioning of the theme we ask you to follow this rule.
Happenings
1. Everybody and Anybody can create a happening. (i.e. did you discover a pack of demons in Saudi Arabia? How about zombies in Milan?)2. All new happenings should be posted in the Happenings Request board.3. For more information click here.
Special Events
1. Every now and then the forum will be hosting special events. These may include but are not limited to site wide events, scavenger hunts, and special missions to find secret boards.2. Most events will be open to all members however watch out! You may be drafted for an extra special mission! (Participation is not required but completed events earn special rewards and recognition.)
Consequences for breaking any of the rules will vary based on the individual event and can range from a warning to permanent ban. We want you all to have fun, but not at the price of other members' comfort.
